CS Marine’s commitment to safety is central to our mission. Our employees and clients can be assured of our fundamental philosophy: all involved with CS Marine will benefit from a safe work place.
We have a full-time Safety Supervisor that conducts our safety and training program in accordance with all state, local, and federal regulations. The Safety Supervisor is also tasked with assuring all training conforms to the principles of our management-down commitment to safety. CS Marine's safety program is guided by our published Health, Safety, and Environmental Policy which focuses on orientation, training, and supervision to provide a safe work place for all. Documented training and evaluation is performed so that there is re-enforcement of the company’s values regarding safety. Our staff are not only members of our safety and drug testing programs, but they are also given training by OSCA and receive the required training for entry into areas such as refineries where awareness of hazards are part of PSM (Process Safety Management). New employees are given an extensive safety orientation and are enrolled in our safety and drug testing programs prior to beginning work. All employees receive weekly safety meetings to maintain focus on the prevention of relevant hazards that are presented throughout the year. These subjects are presented in annually recurrent training along with periodic evaluations to assure conformance. In addition, daily Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) meeting are held each morning on the job to review, evaluate and discuss the specific job hazards and how to ameliorate the work environment. Our program is regularly reviewed by our clients, and we have received recognition from IS Networld. This organization performs audits of safety programs and document conformance for their customers. |
